Some folks have been looking for this recently.
Here are the music files in MP3 format, and sheet music in PDF format. NOTE: the tracks have been re-ordered to match the expected order in the program.

Don't laugh, these were the first couple run-throughs of a new arrangement.

OK, folks, so it’s 2030 and I’m still here at work. Just got off the phone with the representative from “Sing Off”. They are excited and they want us to audition for sure. The audition dates in NYC are May 7,8. On May 7 you are scheduled for your audition at 1330. Callbacks will be on Sunday the 8th. So you’ll need to plan on both days just in case. They want 3 songs – two familiar and one sea chantey. Off the top of my head I would say, “Whale Of A Tale”, “La Mer” and “Sea Chantey Medley.” You might have some better ideas.
Ed, please get the word to all those interested out in the fleet and get a definite commitment from them. I told the lady we would have 12-14 men. There is the possibility of bringing along a couple of “ringers” from the current Idlers. Trouble is, they’d have to be replaced if we, by some miracle, made it as far as LA. This will obviously require a bunch of extra rehearsals – plus we’ll want a solid Friday night rehearsal in NYC. I would recommend having everyone stay at the Soldiers and Sailors Club so we can hold a rehearsal there.
As Ed mentioned, there is the chance that our audition could get aired eventually even if we don’t make it. I’m sure they’d love to show a group in uniform that auditioned because it would be a first. So, no matter what, you need to sound terrific. To put it another way – even thought this may be fun, it cannot be half-assed.
Bob

For those of you who also played with the Nitecaps over the years:
UNITED STATES COAST GUARD ACADEMY
NITECAPS JAZZ BAND 50TH ANNIVERSARY
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
APRIL 17-18, 2010

For those who might be interested, I've been told The Idlers will have
their annual season kickoff at The Griswold Inn, Essex, CT on September
25th (a Friday). The format is 'roving musician', and there are no tickets,
just show up. The guys normally arrive some time after 6pm, so if you'd
like to make dinner reservations, I recommend 7pm or 7:30pm so you'll have
about 2 hours seated before moving into the bar. These events tend to be
heavily attended, in addition to the normal Friday night crowd.
